My friend Nick made this for a gathering once. Richard loved it so I had to get the recipe.
1 bag fresh cranberries
1 ½ cup sugar
Zest of 1 orange
½ cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cups water
1-2 TBSP diced crystallized ginger
Bring all ingredients to boil in sauce pan. Simmer until most all cranberries have popped. Chill in fridge or serve warm.
