JODY’S GERMAN PANCAKES

My good friend, Jody, introduced me to this yummy dish. Had to have the recipe!

Ingredients:

6 eggs
1 c flour
1 c milk
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp melted butt

Buttermilk Syrup

1 ½ c sugar
3/4 c buttermilk
½ c butter
2 TBSP corn Syrup
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

Place eggs, flour, milk and salt in blender and process until mixed well.

Pour melted butter into 13x9x2″ pan. Add the batter.  Bake uncovered at 350 for 25 min.

Meanwhile place first 5 ingredients of Syrup in saucepan; heat to boiling. Boil 7 minutes, remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

Serve pancakes with syrup.
