Hi Teri,
I’m not sure what I can say. Here goes….. I visited FourB Farm to look at a rescue mare that I was considering getting. The stable was clean. There was a man there who was taking care of the water replacement. He was dumping the old water so only fresh went in to each stall. He was courteous and friendly. The outside pens weren’t crowded. The weather had been warm and then cold again so there was some ice, but it’s hard to avoid that in this climate. Each pen had round bales so horses had good access to fodder. The small equines had their own pens and stalls so they wouldn’t be pushed around by larger herdmates. The indoor arena was clean. The driveway has good access for bringing trailers in. The owner, Teri, lives on the premises so there can be instant attention if something happens. Getting to FourB is very easy. US highway 151 to County Road N to driveway. I met Teri only once. She was very friendly and welcoming.

I boarded my horses at FourB Farm for several years until my husband and I bought our own property. Teri ‘saved’ me and my horses from a terrible boarding situation, welcomed me with open arms to the FourB Family, and I have remained friends with her ever since!
The one thing that impresses me most about FourB Farm, is that Teri and Richard are continuously making improvements. They have added on to the tack room, installed drain tile in the paddocks to help drainage, blacktopped the driveway, and put up lighting for the outdoor arena. This is in addition to the constant daily upkeep required to maintain a smooth running farm. They listen to their boarders and try to implement suggestions whenever possible.
In addition, Teri also regularly invites boarders and friends to cookouts, campfires, and holiday celebrations. She gets everybody involved in the Sun Prairie Cornfest parade (which is so much fun and is a great experience for kids, adults and horses!), provides a summer horse camp (my own two kids participated and learned so much!) and welcomes people to experience ‘country life’- including collecting eggs from chickens, watching mares and dogs give birth, and by providing a ‘get away’ from work and school!
If you are looking for a clean, well-maintained, friendly environment to board your horses- look no further. FourB is the place to be!
