I received this recipe years ago from a pen pal. It truly is yummy! I have used sugar free pudding and lite whipped topping for another great alteration!


1 box white cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1 11 oz can mandarin oranges
1 8 oz carton Cool Whip
1 8 oz can pineapple
1 pkg instant vanilla pudding


Mix cake mix with 2 eggs. Add unsweetened apple sauce and mandarin oranges-undrained.

Beat on low speed for 30 seconds then medium for 2 minutes.

Pour into prepare 9×13 prepared pan.

Bake at 325 for 30 minutes or until tooth pick inserted comes out clean.

In medium bowl,  mix Cool Whip, undrained pineapples and vanilla pudding.

Spread on cake and chill.
