RANGER COOKIES

One of my favorites!

Ingredients:

3 c flour
1 c flaked coconut
1 tsp baking soda
1 c shortening.1/2 tsp salt
1 c sugar
½  tsp baking powder
1 c packed brown sugar
2 c rolled oats
2 eggs
2 c crisp rice cereal
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Preheat oven 375F.

Cream shortening, add sugar gradually. Add eggs and vanilla beat until light and fluffy.
Sift dry ingredients together and mix into wet ingredients. Add oatmeal, rice and coconut. Mix well.

Drop by TBSP on slightly greased cookie sheet and bake 12 minutes.
